National Exams

Upon completion of the MSAc program graduates are eligible to take their national board examinations.

New Jersey Acupuncture License Requirements

Upon completion of the MSAc program (and completion of a bachelor’s degree independent of your acupuncture education) graduates may take their NJ State board examination.

In New Jersey, a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) is not considered a primary care practitioner, however, L.Ac.'s can practice independently. The scope of practice is outlined in New Jersey's Administrative Code 13:35-9.12 SCOPE OF PRACTICE.
